The Challenge
The client's existing website had a lot of workflows that were confusing or not efficient. The goal was to make the site look better but also to improve workflows for onboarding, account verification, deposits/withdrawals, and API integration, to name a few.
The Solution
Workflows were improved by making the data more digestible, reducing the number of steps to accomplish tasks, and adding descriptive guidance for additional clarity.
Advanced Trading View
Creating a single page, non-scrolling view of the market page enables traders to view all of the data at once. I spent a lot of time talking to the client to understand the complex functionality as well as talking with customers to know how to configure the UI so that the data is clear and actionable.

Simplified Trading View
This view streamlines the workflow for novice traders by removing advanced features that could cause confusion. By removing data that is overwhelming to a novice, which would cause too much friction to initiate a transaction, this clean layout provides a clear path to make a transaction.

Workflow Improvements
On the old site, the account verification process was not a clear linear path, required users to provide ten points of data, and didn't clearly communicate the benefits of completing the process. While discussing this issue with the client, it was revealed that only a phone number was actually necessary to verify a user account.
With less steps to work through, more users will verify their account info. Additionally, the user profile page clearly describes the benefits of a verified account.
The Verification dialog provides simple, straightforward instructions and a rewarding confirmation.

Responsive Mobile View
The new site is designed to be mobile friendly with same feature set as the desktop version.
